Bdosin After Spitfire apos;s OWL Win: apos;I Like Trash Talking Bad Players apos;

In the aftermath of [/news/london/index.html London] Spitfire's massive win in the Overwatch League Grand Finals against the Philadelphia Fusion, Spitfire support Bdosin had some choice words for his opponents.
'I didn't think it would be this easy.

I hope next year we play against a stronger team.'
I asked Bdosin about the trash talking again the morning after, but he definitely didn't back down.

'I like trash talking bad players,' he said, doubling down on his disrespect of the Fusion players.
Of course, trash talking can be fine if you have something to back it up with.

As a member of the team to win the first ever Overwatch League title, Bdosin can certainly back up his words.
For him though, it's all in good fun. Although the Fusion lineup might not see it that way right now.
'There's a reason behind it,' Bdosin said, clarifying his statement.

'It's because everyone gets criticised when they play bad, including myself. I feel like that's semi-warranted, and it's entertaining to do.'
In fact, the trash talk has been quite refreshing. In interviews so far, most Overwatch League pros have been very respectful of their opponents, and especially Blizzard.
Many don't have a bad word to say about the company, even though there are improvements to be made that Blizzard employees themselves have admitted.

So, when Bdosin, backed up by a few of his teammates, was able to add some entertainment value to the world outside of the game, the fans were generally pretty grateful for it.

'I would have liked to play against New York Excelsior.

It was indeed a surprise that New York Excelsior didn't make it to the final. By far the best team in the regular season, they unexpectedly fell apart against Fusion in the playoffs.

'On the first day we dropped a map against them because we made a couple of mistakes here and there, but going into Saturday we knew if they didn't change much we'd be able to 3-0.'
When asked if there was a particular moment he knew they had won the match, Bdosin pointed to a particular moment in the second map.
'It was when we played on Lijiang Tower, Garden, and Eqo swapped from Pharah to Tracer, that's when we knew we'd already won.'

'I'm worried about my confidence being too big.

I can feel my ego growing. I need to keep it in check.'
